Balls relegated to Second Division?

Yvette Cooper, aka Mrs Balls, complained she, her husband and colleague Liam Byrne were being treated as if they were "Second Division" politicians, whilst Liam Byrne thought their treatment was equal to "being allowed to play in the sand pit".

Like children being caught passing notes during lessons this pair really ought to watch what they do with bits of paper, especially if there are cameras nearby. You'd think they'd have learned by now, obviously not - hence the relegation.

Here's the note that was passed between Mrs Balls and Mr Byrne during a televised  Q+A politicking session. (from Mail)

Do not see why Mrs. Ed was so upset.

To use a football analogy you have a first, or premier division, and a second division. Those of lesser ability are relegated to the second division.

As in football, so in politics.

Allowing for their ability, perhaps it should be pointed out to them that they are still a division 'overpromoted'.

I'd love the lot of them to take an IQ test, without cheating!
